Engaged in Gratitude

Others' happiness directly affects us.
Sometimes my cheeks ache from smiling
when I see the joyful happenings in a loved one's life.
This month has held some doseys!
What's most shocking is how fast time flies.
I was front row to this train the other day and honestly
this time lapse video represents the last few decades.
I had my eyes checked this month.
Since my prescription changed I got some new lens & sassy frames.
My eyes are still adjusting.
(But I could definitely see my ballot to vote on the 8th!)
Have you had these yet?
So yummy.
Books, books, books.
There's just not enough time for them all.
But we can try.
What are you reading?
I'm on a waiting list for these two.
What are you listening to?
My nephew posts songs on Instagram and after I hear them
I go down a rabbit hole and listen and listen and listen...
What are you watching?

I tried something different for Thanksgiving at breakfast.
Nope.
The parade was amazing though.
Our meal was tasty
and
the heated game of 20 questions was fun.
But best of all was the whipped cream!
Then Saturday when the Buckeyes lost
I took a detour after dropping my dear friend
at the airport and did a little therapy thrifting.
I found a Barry Manilow tee!
Being sent Graeter's ice cream was certainly uplifting!
The weather was in the high 50s off and on
so we got some Alfa time in.
I'm still playing games and doing puzzles.

What we do with our time and money doesn't define us
but it does color our world.
In July I "retired" from dog sitting.
But so far that hasn't happened.
How about that Team USA!?
Banana bread is made and frozen and ready to serve to
our family during the holidays.
The tree is trimmed.
Some presents are bought.
Christmas cards are mailed.
Tarjee had some cute Peanuts swag so I got some!
I'll be wearing some when I travel to meet my great nephew next month!
We found a beautiful tree.
I think it was cuz I had on my nifty tree hat.
I am hoping you are doing well
and also had a month
full of joy and love.
Let's all keep hoping for PEACE on the planet.
I am grateful to know each of you.
