Show Gratitude

And if necessary use words.
I spent 6 hours in the Atlanta airport.
It was worth it.
Thanks Delta.
We sure do miss Magnus.
Atlanta airport is a HUGE airport so I was grateful for wheelchair assistance.

I went to Virginia to visit and hug a friend.
We shopped and went to antique stores and arts centers.
We went to a friend's stunning horse ranch.
We visited an amazing rug shop
where I bought some pillow covers
made out of 100 year-old rugs.

Just like the Waste Not Center
The Scrappy Elephant recycles donated art supplies.
Habitat for Humanity always has treasures.
We ate salads and we ate at delicious diners.
We went to a nursery up high in the hills.
We went to ORANGE and thought of
our orange loving friends.
It was so cozy to be together with my dear friend.
Back home I went to a vintage car show.
I went to church on the beach.
Food Truck Thursdays made the summer even tastier.
Buying art from the artist makes it so much more special.
Buying art that makes a statement is fulfilling.
We miss you Jimmy!
We attended a JDRF
FUNraiser.
This is a dental x-ray machine.
I'm frustrated that I had two cavities this past visit.
Anyone else experiencing this (age related) issue?
Finley Market in Cincinnati had a
neat fundraiser!
I hope you've seen some blue and green this month.

As opposed to the rocky wasteland of malls gone bad.
It's fun when my doggy friends
let me know about their adventures.
I also like sending interesting mileage markers to a buddy.
My knee is finally well enough to take a bike ride.
Same as usual, I ate tasty foods and listened to good tunes.

And watched and listened to good movies, shows and books.
I spent a few nights in the backyard in a pup tent
listening to crickets and locusts.
I hung out with my buddy at her store Vintage Rescue.
And got some costumes, props and gifts at Goodwill.
Usually on the Senior Discount days.

Online auctions can be dangerous.
I upped some bids on a friend's site and was grateful
I didn't end up with something I didn't
really want - and definitely didn't need.
I gotta tell you
some of my finds
are something
to CROW about.
Let's not forget the occasional stroll down a loooong
driveway to an estate sale. Ooo laa la!
I've started my Christmas shopping, have you?
(That's a joke actually. I shop for gifts year round.)
I hung out with some neighbors,
admiring their decorative table.
I tried to laugh and be youthful.
Especially at the Senior Center.
I was artsy and creative.
I tried to be mindful.
I sent letters to friends and family.
I walked the beach.
My leg is better...
I remembered I am a Leo.
I made hay while the sun was shining.
And after it went down.
I continue to hope.
Peace be with you!
Be your colorful selves y'all!

(I'm looking forward to future travels!!!)
Have a safe and festive Halloween season.
